TLDR; What: Burning Dinner!

Dresscode: Tabula rasa: Come in black!
Purpose: Unleash creativity!
Who: Everyone welcome!

1. It's a potluck: Crisps are nice, but not so filling...
2. Creative ideas!

18-20: Arrive and hangout, eat
20-21: Mini-workshop around tables sharing burn ideas
21-24: Enjoying each others company

ONCE UPON A TIME, some people met regularly for a burning dinner. There was feeling of spring in the air, and much lightness, laughter and sensible and non-sensical ideas came out of those dinners.
Just by accident, a tradition was formed in which *a new person took the hosting stick every new month*, leading to a very enlivening culture of the dinners belonging to all - and none - at the same time.
As the dinners progressed month by month, and people went to burns, a dream of having a house was born. What would it be like to have our very own playhouse, burner house, filled with blinkey lights and sound systems and blankets with galaxies on? We imagined constant cuddle puddles, stretching, soldering various gadgets and endless creativity... and so the house was found, and I got to be the naming agent, "Eldsäl", for we were in Göteborg after all... (Swedes can unpack that for the international friends).
Some of what we wished for actually happened. I think many remember the Epic Tuesdays with fondness. But what also happened was Covid. And we who sat there with the quite complicated administrative setup of The Eldsäl AB and Eldsäl Förening did less and less of the social fun thing and more and more of the paperwork "we need more paying members" thing. Uack. Berk. Happy to let go of that in the end, and hats off to the team that finalised our legal obligations.
Time passed and many things happened. So many micro burns and many new social groups. Personally, I got a kid and basically exited the scene during the latest couple of years.
But perhaps there is still room for a Burning Dinner - Gothenburg Edition?
In that very original sense, with a revolving ownership, membership and location...
We then got to get to know a lot of people with interesting ideas and perhaps the same could be true today? So please, come make my dream come true, and COME BURN OUR DINNER!
