Welcome Burners! Bring a SECRET SANTA gift or two and take one, present wrapping and card writing desk available
Burning Barna is a monthly meeting of people into everything Burn-related: Burning Man, Nowhere, Urban Playa, and the many decompressions and regional burns throughout Europe during the year.
As usual, we’ll gather on the third Thursday of the month to catch up with what is happening in our lives and in the community. Once again we will be meeting at Metamorfosis, a theater/event space owned by community members Fergie and Sarah P.
DRINKS: Drinks will be available for sale to help keep the place running, please consider buying a drink to help support the venue. Filtered drinking water will be available for free, please bring your own water bottle to serve yourself some water and help Leave No Trace.
FOOD: There is no kitchen or food for sale, but we are welcome to bring our own food into the space, whether that is a snack to share, or dinner purchased at a nearby restaurant. We need to leave no trace of the food we bring, so please make sure to clean up afterward.
As this is a Burning Man gathering, we ask that folks keep in mind Burning Man's 10 Principles as we engage with each other.
Participation, Communal Effort, Gifting, Immediacy, & Self-Expression: Let's co-create a beautiful event together! Bring things to share, whether it's your smile, a story, some snacks, stickers, a musical instrument, or anything else you have to give that others might appreciate. Share your authentically beautiful self.
Leave No Trace: Please help keep the space tidy, clean up any trash or messes that you create, and lend a hand to any other tasks that you see are needed like putting chairs away. Let's leave the space in even better condition than we found it.
Inclusion: People from all walks of life are welcome. Please help make people feel welcome, especially if they don't know others there.
Consent & Respect: What you like is not always what someone else might like. We encourage you to speak up for your boundaries and listen for others expressing theirs. This is always important, but even more now as people have different boundaries for Covid safety and what kind of physical proximity they are comfortable with. We also hope it goes without saying that harassment, abuse and violence will not be tolerated.
