With traditional book clubs, there's always the scramble to finish the book and the pressure to have something smart to say. At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. Bring whatever book you're reading and come chat, have a drink, and read companionably with other Vermonters!Here's how this low-key monthly event goes down:
-1:00-1:30 - Get settled. Get a drink/snack, grab a seat, hang out and chat!
-1:30-2:30 - Read the book you brought (this is essentially a flash mob of readers)
-2:30-3:00 - Stick around to chat more. Or, keep reading. Or, feel free to head out! Choose your own adventure, this is whatever you want it to be
We're planning to return to Zero Gravity for this one, with outdoor and indoor table options while the weather is (hopefully) still nice! If location changes, you'll hear within 48 hours of the meet-up
