Let's celebrate the team being good again and get a little exercise before watching the game! We’ll run, walk or ride a 5K route around historic Leonardtown this Sunday prior to watching the NFC Championship Game at the Rex Theatre. Shorter versions available including a self guided pub crawl around the Square. Meet at the Rex at 1:30pm. Game at 3:00pm. The run is free, low key, no timing, no awards, etc. Please stay on sidewalks (when available) and only cross streets at cross walks. Shorter options available. We'll meet at 1:30pm at or near The Rex on the Square in Downtown Leonardtown. We'll go over some logistics and safety items and we'll try to start soon after 1:30. Feel free to arrive early.
The route will go from The Rex and head down to the Wharf via Washington Street, left along the trail at the Wharf, then part way back up Washington St and turn right on Camalier St then right on Tudor Pl, left on Breton Bay Dr, left on Library Pl back to Camalier and turn right to Guyther Dr and turn right and go down Park Ave then left on Court House Dr and left on Fenwick St. Up Fenwick to the Square turn right onto Washington St to Church St. Turn Left onto Church St, turn right onto Lawrence Ave, Left on Seymour St, Left on Duke St, Left on Barthleme, Right on Lawrence Ave, right on Washington St and back down to the Wharf, do the loop again on the trail along the water and then climb back up Washington St all the way back to the Rex.
