Every department has something to prove. BIZ LEAGUE is where they get to prove it.FBS, BUP's Futsal Inter-Department Tournament is bringing Finance 11, Marketing 11, BBA Gen 17, Accounting 11 and Management 11 onto one court. Five departments. One tournament. Zero chill.
The girls squads are stepping onto that court with just as much hunger and just as much to prove. Locked in, fired up and ready to run the floor.

FUTSAL TOURNAMENT RULEBOOK (2026)
Organized for: Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) Students (Batch 2026)
1. Tournament Format
1.1 Boys’ Category
Total Teams: 10
Format: 2 Groups (A & B) with 5 teams each
Group Stage:
Round-robin format (each team plays all other teams in the group)
Qualification:
Top 2 teams from each group advance to Semi-Finals
Semi-Final Matchups:
Group A Champion vs Group B Runner-up
Group B Champion vs Group A Runner-up
1.2 Girls’ Category
Total Teams: 5
Format: Single Group (Round-robin)
Qualification:
Top 2 teams advance directly to the Final
2. Match Duration
2.1 Boys’ Matches
Group Stage: 10 minutes (straight, no halves)
Semi-Finals: 7.5 minutes per half (Total: 15 minutes)
Final: 10 minutes per half (Total: 20 minutes)
2.2 Girls’ Matches
Group Stage: 7 minutes (straight)
Final: 7.5 minutes per half (Total: 15 minutes)
⚠️ Match duration may be adjusted depending on tournament conditions.
3. Points System (Group Stage)
Win: 3 points
Draw: 1 point each
Loss: 0 points
4. Tie-Breaking Criteria
If two or more teams have equal points:
Goal Difference (GD)
Disciplinary Record (Cards)
Penalty Shootout (3 kicks each)
5. Knockout Stage Rules
If a match ends in a draw (Semi-Final / Final):
Each team takes 3 penalty kicks
If still tied → Sudden death penalties
6. Team Composition
Squad Size: Maximum 9 players
Players on Field: 6 players per team (6-a-side)
7. Player Eligibility
All players must be:
Current students of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP)
From 2026 intake
Enrolled in FBS or BBA (General)
Any ineligible player:
Team will be disqualified immediately
8. Gameplay Rules
Rolling substitutions: Allowed
Back pass: Allowed
Offside rule: Not applicable
No direct goals allowed from:
Side kicks
Goal kicks
Center kick
9. Equipment & Dress Code
Teams must:
Wear matching jerseys or same-colored bibs/aprons
Footwear:
❌ Boots are not allowed
✅ Turf shoes or sneakers are recommended
⚠️ Barefoot is allowed but not recommended
10. Discipline & Conduct
Referee’s decision is final and binding
Only team captains may communicate with the referee respectfully
Misconduct includes:
Disrespect to referee/opponents/organizers
Aggressive behavior
Time-wasting
➡️ Penalties:
Warning / Yellow Card / Red Card
Severe misconduct → Immediate disqualification
11. Card Rules
Red Card:
Player suspended for next match
2 Yellow Cards (across matches):
Player suspended for next match
❗ Exception:
Suspensions do not apply in Semi-Finals and Finals
12. Time-Wasting
Deliberate time-wasting:
May result in yellow or direct red card (at referee’s discretion)
13. Smoking Policy
🚭 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the ground
14. General Rules
Standard FIFA futsal rules apply, except where modified above
Organizers reserve the right to modify rules or timing if necessary.
All participants must comply with:
Tournament regulations
Fair play standards
