Bunuru marks the Noongar ‘second summer’, a hot, dry season from February to March when families gather by the coast, rivers and estuaries to fish and enjoy the water.
Celebrate this vibrant time of year at the Bunuru Markets at Allara! This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to spend a relaxed day, filled with Indigenous culture and creativity. Wander through stalls showcasing art, delicious treats, homewares, and stylish fashion, and enjoy mouth-watering options from local food trucks.
