Join Phil & Kimberley on an evening tour of World War Two German bunkers at Batterie Lothringen, many of which are not usually open to the public. Visiting in the evening gives the fortifications a whole new feeling and atmosphere. You can spend the day enjoying Jersey's attractions and then see the Island's Second World Fortifications in a different light. The tour will show you how Jersey was made into an impregnable fortress & share with you stories from the battles, raids, escapes and resistance. The tour is a perfect complement to understanding the history of D-Day, which took place less than 30 miles away. We use Multimedia and give you the chance to handle real WWII weapons and artefacts.
