Bunco for Blood Cancer is more than a fundraiser, it’s a gathering of community, gratitude, and hope.

This event supports Blood Cancer United through the Visionaries of the Year campaign, bringing friends, neighbors, and families together for a joyful afternoon of bunco, brunch, mimosas, raffles, and a silent auction filled with incredible local donations. All proceeds go directly to Blood Cancer United, funding critical research, patient and family services, and advocacy efforts nationwide.

This cause is deeply personal. Our family never expected to be part of the childhood cancer world, but our daughter Mackenzie’s diagnosis changed everything. The hospital stays, treatments, uncertainty, and fear reshaped our lives in ways we never imagined. But so did the kindness. The meals dropped off. The messages. The community that showed up. The people who carried us when we felt like we couldn’t stand on our own.

Bunco for Blood Cancer exists because of that love. It’s our way of turning gratitude into action, and fear into purpose. It’s about honoring the families who are still in the middle of their fight, remembering the ones who have walked this road before, and building a future where fewer families ever have to face it.
