Neli Andreeva, one of the most iconic voices in Bulgarian folklore, is the lead soloist of the prestigious Filip Kutev Ensemble. She is celebrated for her deep mastery of Bulgaria’s rich vocal traditions.
First workshop: 25.01.2025, 11:00-17:00h (1-hour break)
-> Open to all levels (ages 12+)
Second workshop: 26.01.2025, 10:00-15:00h (1-hour break)
-> Advanced level singers with prior choral singing or Bulgarian folklore experience (e.g. attended previous workshops with our choir, trained singers)
What to expect:
Whether you're new to Bulgarian folklore or already captivated by its harmonies, this is your chance to explore its unique vocal techniques.
> Learn to recreate ornaments, master tone control, and experience Bulgarian harmonies and rhythms—guided by Neli Andreeva, a true expert.
> Join us for a friendly concert on 26.01.2025 at 19:00h, where you can sing alongside Neli and our choirs with songs learned in the workshop. Dress code: all black.
No commitment to join the choir—just come and learn new songs!
Neli will teach in Bulgarian, with translations into German/English based on the audience.
