EVENT DETAILS
Who: Girls, ages 4-13 (all skill levels are welcome!)
- Parents/loved ones are allowed/encouraged to stay and watch respectfully from the sidelines.
Date: Saturday September 12th, 2026
Time: 9:30am-3pm (VIEW FULL SCHEDULE BELOW)
Where: University of Toronto Scarborough Valley (Athletic Fields)
- Free parking
- On-site washrooms and water fountains
Cost: Pay What You Can ($5-20 or more)
- Proceeds go directly into our programming to empower girls through sport, physical activity, and education!
What To Bring and Wear:
- Comfortable/athletic clothing
- Close-toed shoes, such as running shoes or cleats (NO SANDALS/CROCS)
- Cleats and shin pads are not required to play
- Water bottle
What's Included:
- Girls Forward x Nike shirt, and other swag items
- Lunch and snacks
- Soccer tournament and fun fair activities
- Tickets for lunch and fun fair access for people who are NOT girls ages 4-13 will be available for purchase on-site at the event - more details below.
FULL SCHEDULE
9:30-9:45 AM - Arrive to check-in (get your shirt, meet your coaches and teammates, design you team poster)
10:00 AM - Group warm-up
10:15 AM-12:15 PM - SOCCER TOURNAMENT! Girls will be split into teams based on age. They will play 15min games with 5min breaks in between, and rotate to play other teams.
12:15-1:00 PM - Lunch and snacks provided (there is a question on the Eventbrite order form that will ask you about dietary needs)
1:00-2:45 PM - FUN FAIR! Enjoy the rest of the afternoon with activites such as face painting, henna, drawing, friendship bracelets, relay race, fitness training station, a special activity from our friends at AFC Toronto (pro women's soccer team), and more surprises!
2:45-3:00 PM - RAFFLE DRAW and closing remarks. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on-site (cash and card accepted) to win some exciting prizes!
TICKET OPTIONS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT GIRLS AGES 4-13
- While this event is primarily hosted for girls ages 4-13 in the community, we understand that other people who are not girls ages 4-13, such as parents and other family members, would like the option to eat lunch and participate in the fun fair activities.
- Tickets for lunch ($5) and access to fun fair ($5) will be available for purchase on-site at the event. Cash and card (tap-only) are accepted.
- Please note that the soccer tournament portion in the morning is ONLY open to girls ages 4-13.
Spots are limited, first come, first serve.
