Built Environment Job Shadow Day

What It Is: A structured job shadowing experience allowing participants to observe different career options in the Built Environment

Who Can Participate: High school and college students.

When & Where: Friday, April18, 2025, 8:00 am start and end approximately 4:30 at Sinclair.

How It Works:

Participants will meet at Sinclair for registration check in at 8:00, light breakfast, and a campus tour. Free parking is available in the Sinclair garage on Fifth Street. Meet at the Welcome Center in Building 10 on Fourth Street.

Participants will board a bus at 9:00 and visit various employers:

• Point 2 Point (HVAC)
• Heapy (Engineering and Sustainability)
• Danis (Construction and **lunch**)
• JPA (Architecture)
• LJB (Civil Engineering and Surveying)
• Elevar (tentative – architecture)
• City of Dayton (Sustainability)
• Return to Sinclair approximately 4:30

Each session includes real-world observations, Q&A opportunities, and hands-on experiences where applicable. Industry professionals will provide insights into career pathways and daily responsibilities.
