About this Event
“Building Tomorrow” is a research and practice summit that builds upon more than two years of community-engaged research on nonprofit governance. The research explored ED/Board relationships, diversity and inclusion, board structures, and volunteerism, among other areas, with the overarching goal of working toward meaningful changes to both the form and function of governance as it serves the community-based sector
At this one day event, attendees will have the chance to hear about the research, but more importantly, they will engage in the next steps to this research through action-oriented workshops aimed at moving the findings forward. Attendees will receive an accessible report on the research prior to the summit and will receive follow-up materials as the project progresses.
