About this Event

Baltimore Actors Workshop presents ...BUILDING THE WALL by master playwright Robert Schenkkan, (Kentucky Cycle). Directed by Jamie Virostko, performed by Taryn Murphy and Michael McGee. This two character thriller takes place through an interview in a Pr*son visiting room with Gloria (Taryn Murphy), a writer, interviewing Rick (Michael McGee) an immigrant detention center Warden, who faces death having been found guilty for atrocities that occured under his watch. Both Taryn Murphy and Michael McGee were involved with the successful Baltimore production of The Petrified Forest at the Terra Cafe, McGee directed and Taryn played the lead. Jamie Virostko was also in The Petrified Forest, she directs here.

100% of "Net Proceeds" will go to We Are Casa. We Are CASA is a national organization helping to improve the quality of life in working-class Black, Latino/a/e, Afro-descendant, Indigenous, and immigrant communities.
