Building the Grid of the Future: An Energy Convening for West Legislators

Have you been eager to shape the future of the energy system in the West, but don't know where to start? Are you interested in learning about what neighboring states are doing well that your state can replicate? Do you want to work with legislators in your region to design a grid that is efficient, affordable, and reliable?

Join the (NCEL) for a bipartisan energy and grid convening October 27-30 in Salt Lake City, Utah. This event will bring together legislators from Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming to learn about the electric grid and energy systems in the West. This event will feature deep dive workshops on utility & grid policy, the specific role state legislators have to play, case studies from states in the region, and concrete policy actions for state legislators to take following the event. Come together to collaboratively shape a Western grid for the 21st century..

There is no cost to attend this event, and the event organizers can cover legislators' hotel accommodations and travel costs as needed. Look out for information regarding booking and reimbursement logistics after registration.
