About this Event
National Churches Trust, Scotland's Churches Trust, Historic Churches Scotland and Historic Environment Scotland are holding a training and support day.
Meet with the experts across the sectors and chat with churches, communities and organisations who have already tackled the challenges you are facing. Talks and stalls will enable you to discuss tourism, insurance, maintenance, income generation (contactless/online donations), eco-solutions, and much more with experts. We will be sharing ideas, inspiration, tips and practical support. The event will also be a great opportunity to network with those facing similar challenges and exchanging ideas and contacts.
The day is free of charge and is provided in partnership by National Churches Trust, Scotland's Churches Trust, Historic Churches Scotland and Historic Environment Scotland; as part of the Cherish project. Cherish is a National Lottery Heritage Fund funded project made possible thanks to National Lottery players.

Lunch and refreshments
You can pre-order a soup and filled roll for lunch when you book your tickets. You can also let us know any allergies or dietary requirements. Please remember to book the correct number of lunches for your group.
Otherwise, there are lots of external options close to the Abbey.
If you can, please bring a reusable water bottle and cup. There will be water available all day, and tea/coffee available on arrival.
We also encourage a donation to Paisley Abbey wherever possible as they are offering the venue for free for this event. You can make a donation on the day.
-----
Please note that we will film the sessions and be photographing this event. If you don't want to appear in one or either please let us know on the day. We will remind everyone in the welcome.
