We're bringing together procurement professionals, prime contractors, and successful government contractors — including featured panelist Jacqueline Gamblin, Founder and CEO of JYG Innovations — to share firsthand insight on what it takes to move from registered and certified to actually winning contracts. Panelists will cover how government contracting fits into a growth strategy, what buyers and prime contractors look for when evaluating small businesses, and concrete steps to take in the next 30-90 days.

About the Panelists

Jacqueline Gamblin is the Founder and CEO of JYG Innovations (JYG), a Woman-Owned Small Business providing professional consulting services, which started in 2009. She has over 30 years of executive-level technical expertise working in the IT industry. JYG specializes in Information Technology Solutions, Cybersecurity, Research Analysis and Medical/Clinical consulting services for both government and commercial clients. JYG is a national firm recognized as a Better Business Bureau Eclipse Integrity Award winner and selected for multiple years as one of Dayton's Best Places to Work.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Gamblin is actively engaged in her community. She serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Board of Directors, as chair of the Board of Trustees at Central State University and on the boards of the French Oil Mill Machinery Company and the Education & Public Improvement (EPI) Foundation for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.
Her contributions have been recognized by the Dayton Business Journal Who's Who in Aerospace, YWCA Women of Influence Award, Dayton Business Journal "Power 50" Most Influential Woman Honoree, and as a recipient of Ohio's 10th Congressional District Community Service Award. Ms. Gamblin holds a BS from Wright State University and a MS from Central Michigan University.

About the ECDI Women's Business Centers of Ohio (WBC)
The WBCs guide individuals at any stage of the business process. Through one-on-one counseling sessions with WBC staff and volunteers, you can get the direction and resources to meet your goals. Business advisers want to help you successfully start a business, or grow and expand your existing business -- increasing revenue and creating jobs for the local economy.
The WBCs present training workshops regularly to provide access to small business knowledge at no charge. They are the only SBA-funded Women's Business Centers in the state.
