Building Futures Together Open Event

BFT, an alternative provision based in Pudsey, is opening the doors to its purpose-built construction training facility.

We invite school leaders, SENDCos, pastoral teams, local authority partners, parents and young people to explore how our provision supports students aged 11-16 who require an alternative to mainstream education, and discover our Post-16 course.

Our high staff-to-learner ratios, structured practical curriculum and pastoral support help students to re-engage with learning, improve attendance, and work towards meaningful post-16 pathways.

During your visit, you will:

• Meet our team, including Co-Founder and Managing Director, John Thornton and members of our Governing Board
• Gain insight into our curriculum, qualifications, and English and Maths offer
• Understand how we align with Department for Education alternative provision quality standards
• Hear directly from current and former students
• Experience our facilities and take part in practical activities

And importantly to gain an understanding of how working together we can make a positive impact on a young person's life, career opportunities and ambitions.
