Black Inclusion Week 2026 — Driving Impact with Purpose, Delivering Real Outcomes

Black students have the aspiration for a career in tech. The data is unambiguous. Yet, a 51% exposure gap means that for too many young Black people, a career in technology often doesn’t move from a possibility to reality.

That gap doesn't close on its own. It closes when educators, employers, and advocates get in the same room and commit to doing something different.

This Black Inclusion Week, Autotrader opens its doors in Manchester to do exactly that.

What to Expect

You'll hear directly from Black professionals about the journeys into tech, including the barriers, the near-misses, and the moments that changed everything, as well as those working in education and early careers teams sharing insights into who they partnered with, and what it genuinely takes to sustain that progress.

As well as this, you’ll take part in an interactive workshop creating the opportunity to learn from one another.
