Building Butler: A Community Leadership Series
In partnership with the Butler AM Rotary Club
New for 2026, Building Butler is a monthly community leadership series designed to spotlight the people and stories driving Butler County forward. Held on the second Tuesday of each month, this free morning event invites community leaders, entrepreneurs, and business executives to go beyond talking about their organizations and instead share their personal leadership journey, lessons learned, and the role they play in keeping our community vibrant and moving forward.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with new people, hear directly from those making a difference locally, and experience the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.” A hot breakfast will be provided, and the event is free to attend.

Brandon Savochka
Executive Director, Center For Community Resources
Join us as we welcome Brandon Savochka, Executive Director of Center for Community Resources, Inc., for a conversation centered around leadership, community impact, and the evolving landscape of human services across Pennsylvania.
CCR provides services in all 67 Pennsylvania counties, and Brandon brings extensive experience from both nonprofit and local government leadership roles. Prior to becoming Executive Director, he served Butler County as Human Services Director and MH/EI/ID Administrator, with previous leadership roles as Mental Health Director and Children & Youth Services Casework Manager.
A longtime Butler County resident, Brandon has been a dedicated advocate for human services throughout the Commonwealth and has witnessed firsthand the growth and evolution of CCR over the years.
Throughout his career, Brandon has become known for his collaborative leadership style, relationship-building approach, and commitment to thoughtful organizational growth. His recent accomplishments include helping develop and implement psychiatric mobile medications, the Family Connections Housing Program, a seasonal overnight warming center, expansion of forensic services, and an adolescent acute partial program.
