About this Event
Join dozens of dynamic & friendly fellow climate advocates from around the southeast to develop skills & strategies for building climate solutions.
Join us! Whether you're new to Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL) or a regular volunteer register now to learn from experts and each other on how we can enact meaningful climate legislation and educate the public on proposed solutions.
Come early for our free climate concert at 7 pm on Friday night: award-winning composer and OA2 recording artist Nelda Swiggett and her husband, Clif, are on a two month tour to share information about birds, climate, and effective actions.
On Saturday May 16 we'll meet to learn from experts the latest on technology, policy, and strategies for enacting meaningful climate legislation and educating the public on solutions.
After a continental breakfast on Saturday, we'll build lobbying skills, learn effective climate tools, and discuss climate justice and health impacts. After a box lunch, weβll learn to use CCLβs unique BRIDGE initiative, evidence-based skills to build relationships with people who think differently than we do. The afternoon sessions will cover CCL's current advocacy policies, and breakout sessions on inclusion and Drawdown Georgia. Panel discussions on climate in faith communities and state-utility level energy challenges will round out the day. The preliminary agenda and speaker list are below.
Ready to become a more informed, connected, and effective climate advocate? Our conference will give you the tools to take meaningful action. We hope to see you there!
