Building Apps with No Code - Dumfries

These days, apps are a big deal.

But don’t you need to be a coder, or a software developer, to build your own?

Not anymore - welcome to the wonderful world of ‘no-code’, where intuitive software platforms allow you to build apps without needing to code at all. This means as long as you have an idea, you have more ways than ever to bring that idea to life.

During our practical workshop, we’ll guide you through the process of building your very own Vinted-style marketplace app. We’ll cover the basics of what no-code is, and then dive into building our app. You’ll learn how to build and hold your data, and then how to present this data back to the user as an intuitive app. You’ll leave with a much greater understanding of the power of no-code, and the next steps you can take on your own journey to build an amazing app for your business.

This event will be delivered by Oli Littlejohn, VP of R&D, Codebase. Oli has been pioneering the use of no-code app development in Scotland, and manages nocode.scot – Scotland’s no-code meetup community.

Please note - this workshop will include practical and hands-on elements; therefore, a laptop with Windows or MacOS will be required to participate in these elements.
