Build Your Happy Place-Workshop On Creating Personal Altars

Wanting to create more sacred space in your home? Join us for our first workshop: Building Your Own Altar ~ Creating Magical Spaces in your Home. Terrie Lewine and Danica Arizola will lead you through understanding the components to include on your altar, whether you are considering something elaborate, indoors, outdoors or simply a talisman for your pocket. Create something that is unique to you, a space you can enjoy and visit or sit with that brings mindfulness of what you hold dear.

Here’s what we’re offering:

There are many kinds of altars and reasons for building them. Our intention is for you to leave the workshop understanding the purpose and benefits of building your altar. We will explore the symbolism of the objects you might use, how to choose where to build your altar(s) and how you might be with, or use your sacred place.

We will build an altar together so you will have an experience of what it feels like to be near ours, notice what calls to you and what doesn’t –giving you the confidence to create something you will enjoy in your own home.

You will leave with worksheets that contain the information you need to begin. You can use it as your own personal journal to support your ongoing efforts to design and create your own sacred spaces.

Please bring an object or two that have meaning to you to place on our altar so it will be charged with the sacred energies we create while leaning together. You can take it/them home with you to help you get started on your personal altar.

We will have very light refreshments. If you have specific foods you like to eat, feel free to bring them with you.
