Drones are becoming an important part of technology, engineering and real-world problem solving. A hands-on workshop helps students go beyond watching drones to actually understand how they work, build them and learn to fly. It is a practical way to develop curiosity, confidence and interest in emerging technologies.

Go from knowing little about drones to building and flying one yourself all in one exciting day.

Participants will:

• Learn how drones work and where they are used
• Understand the major components of a drone
• Build a Pluto drone with guidance from our trainers
• Learn take-off, landing, hovering and directional flying
• Practice their flying skills
• Compete in a fun drone flying challenge

All drones, training kits, specialised tools, equipment, and materials required during the workshop are provided as part of the registration fee.
