Natalia-
Hi, my name is Natalia Lopez and I am a lead instructor for this summer camp! I am a third year student at the University of Washington, majoring in Multilingual/Language in Education, with a minor in Japanese. As someone who speaks both English and Spanish I developed an interest in how language impacts learning, inspiring me to pursue studies in Education. I have previous experience working with children from volunteering at an early childhood education center where I was able to learn how to create a fun and supportive learning experience. I have always loved doing arts and crafts so I am very excited to help young artists explore their creativity!
Jennifer-
Hi, my name is Jennifer Perez, and I am one of the lead instructors for this summer camp!
I’m starting my third-year at the University of Washington Tacoma, where I’m majoring in Elementary Education. My passion for becoming an educator grew through my experiences working with children. I've interned and volunteered at two elementary schools and also worked as a swim instructor. I speak both English and Spanish, which helps me connect with families from diverse backgrounds. I’m very excited to help create a fun, inclusive environment where every child feels encouraged to explore, be creative and have fun.
Lucy-
Hi, Im Lucy! I'm a sewing instructor with several years of experience creating clothing and home projects. I love teaching because I believe sewing is a powerful way to express creativity and transform spaces into something personal. In my classes I offer a supportive, beginner-friendly setting where students learn practical skills and gain confidence at the sewing machine.
