Welcome to Rubbish Dinosaur, an immersive, experiential trail that transforms your family walk into a wildly surreal prehistoric scavenger hunt! There are no apps to download—simply secure your tickets on Eventbrite, open the web app in your browser, and let the adventure begin.
Your mission? Follow the interactive digital map to track down 13 GPS locations and find the missing pieces of a mighty Plesiosaurus, the magnificent marine reptile native to the UK. But there is a brilliant, randomized twist: you never know what you’re going to dig up! At each stop, you might find a genuine prehistoric bone, or you might unearth a piece of random modern rubbish—from a dirty plastic bottle to an old TV. With hundreds of thousands of combinations, your final creation is guaranteed to be entirely unique.
Once you complete the trail, the app automatically christens your creature with a hilarious, custom-generated name (like SmellyTVHeadosaurus) and stitches the 3D files together, allowing you to bring your dinosaur to life right in front of you using your smartphone camera.
