Join us at Copperwing Distillery for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own tiny moss garden in a jar — a peaceful little world inspired by the forest floor of the North Woods.
In this workshop, we’ll build a self-sustaining moss ecosystem inside a 2-pint glass jar using carefully layered substrates, farm-grown native moss varieties, and live springtails (tiny beneficial organisms that help keep the environment clean and balanced). Once sealed, your moss garden will recycle its own moisture and can thrive for years with very little care.
Each participant will design their own miniature moss landscape and decorate it with colorful stones and small figurines — including our friendly garden gnome guardian.
Perfect for a desk, dorm room, windowsill, or coffee table — anywhere you’d like to bring a little piece of nature indoors.
The price includes all materials, instruction, and applicable sales tax. Decorative elements will be available (subject to availability), and you’re welcome to bring your own non-organic décor such as stones or small resin figurines. Please do not bring organic materials or wood.
