Class DescriptionCreate a charcuterie board or cutting board using a router table and templates. Students will make a serving tray or a cutting board. Students will cut material to length on the miter saw. The next step will be to cut a tongue and groove in the wood using the router table. Students then will glue up the boards and allow them to dry for two days.
In the following class, students will sand the board smoothly. The student will then trim the boards using a templating bit on the router table and, if desired, round over the edges of the project. Attach handles if desired. Students will be given oil and instructions to oil boards at home.
Material FeeThe materials fee for this class is $85. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts cash, checks, or Venmo.
