Come Build-a-Bouquet in Downtown Newton – a special two-day event that offers a fun and interactive Valentine's Day experience for the community. The event will take place on Tuesday, February 11, and Wednesday, February 12, during regular business hours until 6:00 p.m. (or until supplies last).
Attendees can visit 16 participating businesses in Downtown Newton, each offering fresh flowers, greenery, or bouquet supplies. Guests will travel from shop to shop, collecting beautiful floral elements to create their own bouquet—completely free of charge. No purchase is necessary to participate.
How It Works:
• Begin at 2 Pink Magnolias, where guests will receive a flower holder.
• Collect up to 12 flowers and 2 greenery fillers from participating locations.
• Pick up additional bouquet supplies such as paper, twine, and ribbon.
• Finish at the final business stop to receive a ribbon to complete the bouquet, making it gift-ready.
• Businesses will remain open until 6:00 p.m. on both event days to accommodate participants.
Begin at 2 Pink Magnolias to pick up your floral paper and bouquet floral holder, then head to the Catawba History Museum for your greenery filler. Then, visit any of the participants below to build your bouquet!

As a bonus, head to Boutique Auberge for ribbon, bow-tying instructions (and a little extra gift), and Warehouse Distillery for a crafted note card. If you get hungry along the way, stop by Geppeto's for lunch or dinner! If you spend $25, you'll get a free dessert!
