About this Event
Prepare for an action-packed adventure at Bug Bonanza: Explore Their Wild World! Campers will compete in the Bug Olympics where they’ll race like their favorite insects in wild mimicry challenges. Later, they'll get creative in Build-a-Bug, designing their own amazing insect inventions, then embark on an epic bug hunt to discover the incredible science behind these tiny creatures. Together, we'll explore the fascinating world of bugs through hands-on experiments and fun activities, all while making new friends and discovering the diverse world of bugs!
Guided Activities
- Bug Olympics: Organize mimicry races where participants imitate the movements of different bugs.
- Build-a-Bug: Design and construct a unique bug model, focusing on different features.
- Bug Hunt: Search in and around Van Andel Institute for various bugs, identifying and collecting information about them.
- Exploration: Explore different habitats to observe bugs in their natural environments and learn about their behaviors.
Refund Policy:
- Full refunds will be given if requested more than 7 days before the start date of your camp.
- Partial refunds (50% tuition) will be given if requested 7 days or less of the start date of your camp.
