Hoping that the April Fools weather will be more cooperative, the Buffalo Commons Storytelling and Music Festival planning committee has rescheduled Senator Dan Hughes for a First Tuesday event April 1 from 7 – 8 pm at Embers Bakery and Café.
The Venango farmer and former senator along with his wife, Josie, will share experiences from his eight years of service to District 44. In addition, he may already have tales from his recent appointment to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
Anyone who has visited the Unicameral, has attended one of his conference calls or simply has an interest in Nebraska politics is encouraged to attend and share a story of their own. As always, listeners are welcome as well. As part of the rental agreement, snacks and beverages from the bakery are available for purchase
