Join the Tulipán Foundation on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 10:30 am for the Budapest Festival Orchestra’s Cocoa Concert at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York City. Led by Iván Fischer, the concert introduces children to classical music through an informal performance format and concludes with shared cups of hot cocoa. Known in Hungary as Kakaókoncert, the Cocoa Concert is part of a long-running series developed by the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
Founded in 1983 by Iván Fischer and Zoltán Kocsis, the orchestra is internationally recognized for its artistic excellence and imaginative approach.
