Grounded Musicality – Adapted to the Dance Floor! Pugliese vs. D’Arienzo
We will explore how to adapt movement to the music by understanding:
• the musical moment,
• the energy of the movement, and
• the quality of the embrace.
The tangueros will learn how different orchestras inspire distinct dynamics on the dance floor, ranging from deep, grounded elasticity to rhythmic clarity and drive and how to translate these qualities into clear, musical dancing.

⭐️Rocío and Germán Filipeli are internationally acclaimed Argentine Tango dancers and teachers with over 25 years of experience in both salon and stage tango. Renowned world-class Tango dancers and choreographers . They have cultivated a unique dance style that stays true to the essence of Argentine tango while pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.
As the Directors of Choreography and Principal Dancers of the Korean production Fever Tango, they showcased their talent in 2018 at the renowned Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires, as well as at the Olympic Hall and Aram Nuri theaters in Seoul, Korea, over five successful seasons. The show received exceptional reviews for both the directors and the cast.
Their outstanding abilities have been featured in some of the most prestigious tango shows in Buenos Aires. They have also worked as choreography assistants and lead dancers with top tango companies from Argentina, performing on the world’s best stages, including Compañía Roberto Herrera, Tanguera, Estampas Porteñas, Leonardo Cuello Company, Tango Seducción, and the World Champion Tour with Min-On Productions in Japan. Their performances have graced the most renowned stages around the world. Additionally, they have traveled extensively, conducting workshops at international festivals and tango schools, particularly in Asia and Oceania.
They have also served as judges for the Metropolitan Tango Championship in Italy, as well as numerous tango competitions in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.
Their exceptional journey also led them to perform at a private event for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at its headquarters in Washington, D.C., where they were the sole tango dancers from the entire United States.
Last year, Rocío and Germán starred in the show We Call It Tango with Fever Productions, touring theaters across the U.S.
They are also the founders of their own dance company, TodoTango, based in Miami, FL Their debut show, a blend of tango and Argentine folklore, was met with great success at the box office.
In addition, they have been selected for prominent tango advertising campaigns in the U.S., including the recent commercial for Despegar.com featuring singer Shakira.
They are part of the prestigious Broadway show tango company “Forever Tango”by “Luis Bravo”, touring across the United States, most recently in San Francisco and Los Ángeles.
Beyond organizing tango events and shows, Rocío and Germán continue to teach salon and stage tango classes and seminars, nurturing the next generation of tango dancers in the U.S. and inspiring others with their passion and energy for the dance.
