The award-winning Budapest Café Orchestra back to Shrewsbury!Established by composer and violinist Christian Garrick, the electrifying 4-piece Budapest Café Orchestra play gypsy and folk-flavoured music, including traditional Balkan, Russian, Hungarian and Romanian tunes, with jazz nuances and following their own unique arrangements. They are famed for their ‘distilled concertos’ in which they artfully rework masterpieces by the greats of the Romantic era.
The Budapest Café Orchestra will be preceded by a pre-concert 'warm-up' performance by Shropshire Music Service's young 'World Folk Ensemble' at 7pm.
Bring the whole family! It’s a great opportunity for children to see different instruments in action: violin, darbuka, button accordion, double bass, saz, guitar, balalaika and domra!
We recommend booking your tickets in advance as this concert is likely to sell out.

PARKING NOTICE
There is no parking available at Prestfelde School for the concert, other than for disabled audience members.
Please use the public Shirehall Overflow Carpark (SY2 6NS) on the London Road (less than a two minute walk away from the school). The entrance to the car park is directly opposite Warner Furnishings, which is next to the White Horse Pub.

Please do not try to park on the carpark in front of the school on London Road as this is closed to concert goers, due to a school event.
DISABLED VISITORS ONLY
A limited number of disabled parking spaces, and a designated drop-off area, will be available within the school's grounds. To access a disabled space, please enter the school site via the main school entrance on Preston Street (SY2 5PL) and follow the signs. See the link for the What3Words reference in the comments. A parking marshal from the Shropshire Music Trust will be on hand to direct you.
