After eight successful years, the Budapest Balkans Forum will once again bring experts, decision-makers, and ministers from the Western Balkans, Europe, and all over the world to the Hungarian capital to provide a platform to discuss and evaluate present and future trends concerning the region, to positively shape policy-making & to strengthen new means of cooperation among experts.

The Budapest Balkans Forum is the flagship conference of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs, bringing more than 100 experts, decision-makers, and policy-shapers from across the globe together in Hungary.
As the Western Balkans is of strategic importance to the Visegrad countries, the conference brings in the Visegrad perspective and experience on current issues, including the consequences of the war in Ukraine to the region, bilateral disputes, and the prospects of EU enlargement.
