Join our Forge Nature Series and make a Buckthorn Wreath to impress your family and friends during this holiday season.Did you know that buckthorn is one of the MOST invasive shrubs at The Forge: Lemont Quarries? Let's turn these destructive plants into festive art!
Decorate a pre-shaped rustic wreath or swag made from Buckthorn or Honeysuckle(also invasive) just in time for the holidays.
We’ll provide:
Buckthorn wreaths and swags + various dried plants and other natural decor items
Ribbon
Scissors, hot glue guns
Hot Chocolate and cider available for additional purchase
Crafters of all ages and groups are welcome! Meet us at the kiosk in Parking Lot #2. We’ll be crafting outside -we'll have the fire pit going, but dress warmly!
