Buckshot Red Comedy Night at Jack's House – Brainerd
About this Event
Bowling shoes optional. Laughing is not.
On Friday, January 8, the "Straight Out of Nashville: The Southern Fried Comedy Tour 2027" pulls into Jack's House for a night of stand-up right here in Brainerd. For Buckshot Red, this one is personal: he was born just up the road in Crosby, and the Brainerd lakes area is where his story starts.
He grew up in northern Minnesota (high school in Grygla), then headed south to Nashville. There he plays the lead in Shiners, a Broadway cirque show, and he has hosted Redneck Family Feud. Before any of that, he was the kid of a famous dad: Steve Hall, better known as Shotgun Red from Hee Haw and Nashville Now.
Expect a headline set of down-home stories about Minnesota winters, small-town life, family and what happens when a northwoods boy ends up in Music City.
Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7:00. Come early for dinner and drinks from Shirley's Classic Grille. Advance tickets are $20 here; $25 at the door.
