Bucks for Babe - Same Day Adoption Event

Join us for a heartwarming afternoon at The Bond Between on Friday, June 26th for a very special "Bucks for Babe" Same Day (On-Site) Adoption Event! Five years ago this June, KS95’s Crisco unexpectedly lost his beloved soul dog, Babe. Thanks to the incredible generosity of listeners like you, Blaze Credit Union, and The Bond Between, the Bucks for Babe fund has raised over $375,000 to rescue thousands of shelter pets. This year, we are keeping that beautiful legacy alive. In honor of Babe, and in loving remembrance of the Hortman family, a portion of the proceeds will also support Helping Paws to continue helping animals in honor of Representative Melissa Hortman, Mark Hortman, and their dog Gilbert.
Right now, hundreds of amazing dogs and cats are sitting in shelters across the Twin Cities, waiting and hoping for someone to take a chance on them. Just like Babe, every single one of these animals has the potential to become someone's absolute best friend and soul pet—they just need a helping hand getting out of the shelter. This event is your chance to meet these wonderful animals face-to-face and find your own perfect match.
Whether you are looking to open your heart to a new furry family member or simply want to support the cause, we would love to see you there! We will have both dogs and cats on-site, and select animals will be eligible to go home with you the very same day.
