The Buc Days RECF Aerial Drone Competition presented by Tesla Gulf Coast Lithium Refinery brings together middle and high school students to compete in an exciting drone-based STEM tournament that challenges their programming, piloting, and teamwork skills.
Students will take STEM learning to new heights as they explore aeronautics through programmable drones, completing flight-based challenges that emphasize flight physics, computer vision, autonomous navigation, and obstacle avoidance.
$5,000 in total prize money will be awarded to the top teams.
Located in the Henry Garrett Ballroom at the Hilliard Center, this event will take place Friday, May 1st, 2026, followed by an award ceremony.
Registration is $50 per team and will close soon.
