Let's get growing! 🌳 We invite you to join us at our BTNEP Native Plant Nursery on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 9 am to 12 pm (or until supplies last) for our FREE Native Tree Giveaway! Stop by our Nursery, located at 104 Thoroughbred Park Dr in Thibodaux at the Nicholls Farm, to take a look around our nursery, learn more about native species, and grab FREE native trees and shrubs to take home! All plants are in trade gallon pots, with sizes ranging from 2 to 6 feet tall, most trees over 5 feet tall! Trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so come early.Species include bald cypress, white oak, live oak, mayhaw, river birch, red maple, red mulberry, honey locust, hackberry, roughleaf dogwood, persimmon, American beautyberry, and yaupon holly. By planting native species, you are directly benefiting #OurEstuary and all of the wildlife that inhabits it.
