Join us at our 2026 Short Film Screenings to watch our shortlisted films and discover the winners from the BTBG Film Festival.
Overview
Now in its 4th year, Between the Blue & Green is a film festival showcasing short films and documentaries exploring sustainability and wellbeing, featuring work from local, national and international filmmakers. Our aim is to encourage conversation, inspire action and create positive change through creative, impactful and often surprising films.
One audience member said: “It’s my second year at the short film screening, and I’m always amazed by the range of stories and skill the filmmakers bring. It’s such an entertaining, thought‑provoking evening.”
Short Film Screening
Doors open 6.30pm at the Worthing Pavilion Atrium
Table seating – enjoy a drink and a chat before the films start at 7.00pm.
Enjoy a wide‑ranging selection of short films from both established and emerging filmmakers, chosen by a panel of industry professionals and environmental advocates.
Smartphone Short Films
Showcasing a selection of films under three minutes long - the one proviso: they must be filmed on a smartphone or tablet.
Mid‑evening break – grab a drink and meet the filmmakers behind the films.
Short Film Competition Screening
Watch a selection of powerful films that made it to the final of the Short Film category.
Whether you're passionate about environmental issues, curious about wellbeing, or simply love great short films, this night promises to bring you moments that catch you off‑guard and stay with you.

Film Festival Weekend
The Short Film Screening is part of the BTBG Festival running 10–12 September.
Taking place on Thursday 10 September at Audio Active, Worthing – our Documentary Screening when you’ll discover the winners of both our Feature and 20-minute Award winners.
