Join with the award-winning Black Storytellers of San Diego and special guests in person for a vibrant celebration as we honor 100 years of Black History commemorations! Dive into stories, culture, and powerful moments that shaped our community. Be a part of a time-honored way to connect, learn, and celebrate together. Don’t miss out on this inspiring event filled with history, celebration of accomplishments, music, and more!
Featuring BSSD Master Storytellers: Dr. Esther Anthony-Thomas, Mrs. Linda Brown, Dr. T. Ford, Dr. Almena Mozon, Griot OJ Mozon, Jr., and Rev. Wesley Thomas.
Special Guests: Musician/Poet Anthony (Tony) Ackee and Poet/Playwrite/Artist Calvin Manson. Inspirational artwork of Calvin Manson will be on display.
