Join us for an unforgettable evening of symphonic color and sparkling virtuosity!Internationally acclaimed clarinetist Doreen Ketchens takes the stage for a dynamic collaboration with the orchestra, performing numerous selections that showcase her extraordinary artistry, charisma, and signature New Orleans flair. Presented by Centerstage, this special appearance promises energy, elegance, and joyful musicianship.
The orchestra will also perform Amy Beach’s powerful and richly lyrical Symphony in E minor, “Gaelic Symphony”, a landmark American work filled with sweeping melodies and Celtic-inspired themes. The program opens with Charles Faulkner Bryan’s spirited Overture to Singin’ Billy, a vibrant celebration of American musical heritage.
Conducted by Dan Allcott, this exciting program blends virtuosity, tradition, and American symphonic brilliance.
