BSDC Youth Arts Leadership Lab

Are you a creative teen ready to lead? BSDC Arts Institute invites you to join our 12-week afterschool Youth Arts Leadership Lab—a unique opportunity to explore dance, music, visual arts, and real-world leadership skills in a supportive, fun, and inspiring environment.

What You’ll Experience:

Hands-on workshops in dance, music, and visual arts led by professional teaching artists

Weekly leadership and teamwork activities to build confidence and life skills

The chance to plan and perform in a youth-led community showcase

Snacks and all materials provided

Who Can Join:

Teens ages 13–18 (no prior experience needed)

Open to youth from Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas

When & Where:

Thursdays, 4:30–6:30 PM

January 15 – April 2, 2026 (12 weeks)

Program Value & Cost

The full value of this 12-week program is approximately $720 per student (24 hours of professional arts and leadership instruction at our regular $30/hour rate).

For this special Youth Arts Leadership Lab, BSDC is offering discounted tuition:

- Early bird rate: $300 for the full program (register by January 1, 2026)

- Standard tuition: $360 after January 1, 2026

Full and partial scholarships are available for families with financial need, and payment plans can be arranged. No teen will be turned away for inability to pay—please indicate your scholarship request on the application form.
