Bring chairs and a picnic and come one, come all to mark the 250th of the United States in the Town of Brunswick!
This FREE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY event features Midcoast Symphony Orchestra music, living history demostrations, button and flag making, simple colonial games, a judged Colonial Cake Contest, and a reading of parts of the Declaration of Independence.
10am-Ongoing: Family crafts and history demonstrations
10:30-11am: Welcome remarks, Life in 1776, Student reading of the Declaration
11am-Noon: Midcoast Symphony Orchestra
Noon-1pm: Colonial Cake Contest Awards and sampling; crafts and demos continue
