Bruno's Friday Comedy Festival Night

Every first Saturday at Bruno's it's a 90 -minute comedy show! This month our headliner, down from LA, it's Clay Newman.

Clay Newman Bio: This stony, joke slinging rabble rouser has been delighting audiences across the west coast for over five years with his tales of life, love, and all that other crap that fills our days.

His comedy career began as just another way for the long time theater nerd to get his stage fix, but he soon found that stand-up was his greatest passion and only actual skill.

Clay is a regular host at Punch Line and Cobb’s in San Francisco, as well as Rooster T Feathers in Sunnyvale, Punch Line in Sacramento, and Flappers in Burbank. He’s recently been seen opening for Eric Andre, Aida Rodriguez, Sam Tripoli, Andy Woodhull, Sheng Wang, Tom Rhodes, Mathew Broussard, and Joe Bartnick.

Though he is usually a sweet boy, Clay can be sassy when he needs to be and has hosted the roasts of Dustin Diamond and Broke Ass Stuart. He is currently 1-0 at The Comedy Store’s Roast Battle.
