Chris and Dan Brubeck have been making music together for a lifetime – literally! The sons of jazz icon Dave Brubeck drummer Dan and bassist/trombonist/composer Chris cut their first record together in 1966 and have been forging their own musical path ever since. Together with guitarist Mike DeMicco and pianist Chuck Lamb they form the Brubeck Brothers Quartet (BBQ)—a powerhouse ensemble known for dynamic interplay rich improvisation and deep musical chemistry.

Touring extensively across North America and Europe the Quartet has captivated audiences at major jazz festivals and concert halls including Newport Detroit Montreal the Hollywood Bowl and Monterey. Their latest album TimeLine—a tribute to Dave Brubeck’s groundbreaking 1958 State Department tour—received wide critical acclaim and sustained radio success with All About Jazz calling it “an exciting ride… a seasoned and well-oiled musical unit.”
