The goal is to raise $200 to cover the cost of patches and other supplies. If we have enough participants the price will be reduced. Reimbursements will be automatically sent out to those who have already paid $20.
What is it?:
The general concept is for a unit of participants to pick and choose missions of varying difficulty, to complete as teams or together. Each mission will be worth a certain number of points, with the goal of hitting a set number of points to complete the operation.
Duration:
This will generally take all day. But some accommodations can be made for late arrival / early departure. Failure to complete the whole mission duration will equate to a DNF on your patch.
Tiers:
To make this challenge universally challenging, there will be different tier options. These tiers will dictate ruck weight and on some missions the difficulty or leadership.
So by ruck weights:
Tier 1: 45lb Ruck Weight
Tier 2: 30lb
Tier 3: 20lb
Tier 4: 10lb
Tier 5: Slick + Water
Each participant must bring a blank patch. A roman numeral / tally mark will indicate their tier. IF anyone feels too challenged they can reduce intensity by increasing their tier. But once you go up a tier, you cannot go back. At the end of the event the patches have a blank corner in the bottom right to indicate what tier you finished at.
Mission Types:
The mission types can include WODs, coupon movements, rucks for time, etc. The Team will discuss and pick missions, compromising between capabilities and point needs.

A quiet colonial era town with BIG history and great places for post ruck food & drinks.

If you have a sandbag you can bring, please do so. Keep in vehicle and inform Greg at event start.
Generally a GORUCK Basic Challenge loadout plus the weight per your Tier. Highly recommended you bring extra plates if you might change your tier level.
