BRR Championship Series

• The BRR Championship Series will run over 11 months from February to December.
• The first run in each month will be designated as the series run.
• There will be separate categories for female and male runners.
• Each runner will only be competing for one distance category: short (3K), medium (6K), or long (8K).
• Points will be scored based on inversed finishing rank.
• Only each runner’s top 8 scores will be used to calculate their overall series score (this will allow runners to miss up to 3 series runs and still score maximum points)
• There is no extra registration required by runners – if you run on the series run night you are automatically in the series.
• Just ensure you run the same run distance (short, medium or long) on the series run each month to be scored for that distance.
• You can still run any distance you like on the non-series run nights – you are not locked into that distance for all your club runs.
• A list of progressive scores will be included with the bi-monthly newsletter.
• Winners will be announced at the End of Year BRR functions.
• Happy running
