Don't miss the first ever Brown BAGA Lunch! This lunch and learn experience is designed specifically for artists who want to grow in their practice. We'll cover a variety of topics including Copyright, Framing to Protect and Enhance, Packing Your Art to Travel, Marketing, Improving your Professional Image, Approaching Galleries, and so much more!
The September topic is: Copyright - An Overview for Artists, by Melissa Gordon.
In this session, artists will learn about copyright and how to protect your intellectual property. Topics include free-use and its misconceptions, how to copyright your work, the difference between work-for-hire, commissions and licensing, and protecting yourself online.
