About this Event
We hope you'll join us for Brotherhood Breakfast- Abilene!
Scott Goolsby is a husband, father, business owner, and a man whose life reflects a deep and growing dependence on the Lord. A longtime resident of Abilene, Texas, Scott and his wife Paula have built their life around family, faith, and service. Together they have raised three children and have walked through both seasons of great joy and seasons of profound trial—experiences that have shaped Scott’s faith and strengthened his reliance on Christ.
Professionally, Scott is a local business owner in Abilene, leading a fire protection company that serves the community and surrounding region. Through his work he has sought to operate with integrity, responsibility, and a commitment to caring for people well—values that mirror the faith he holds at the center of his life.
Scott and his family are active members of Beltway Church, where he has been involved in the fellowship and spiritual life of the congregation. In that community he is known not only as a good man, but as a man who speaks honestly about the ways God has met him in both hardship and blessing. His testimony is rooted in the conviction that peace is not found in circumstances, success, or self-reliance, but in the steady hope found in Jesus Christ.
Through the trials of life, Scott has come to understand the transforming work of the Holy Spirit and the necessity of walking closely with the Lord each day. His story is one of dependence—learning that when life’s burdens grow heavy, the only lasting place of rest and hope is found in Christ.
Today Scott continues to live out that faith as a husband, father, business owner, and brother in Christ, seeking to follow the Lord faithfully and encourage others to discover the same peace and hope that he has found.
On the 3rd Thursday of every month, Brotherhood Abilene hosts a breakfast for all men. Our purpose is to create an environment that encourages men to invite their communities, co-workers, friends, and associates who desire to gain Godly wisdom. This could be the first step, for some, toward learning more about the faith that drives so many men in our community.
The Brotherhood breakfast will always feature food (of course) and a guest speaker. You can expect to show up and be fed physically and spiritually. The cost for the breakfast is $10. Tickets can purchased online. If you are a church or business and are interested in purchasing a table (6-8 seats) please message us and we'll get you set up with a private table.
Register soon because space is limited.
